One common interest among travelers, especially when they are traveling alone, is safety. Because inBed.me allows backpackers to cover who else will be at their destination before they arrive, travelers are able to see if they are comfortable with the other people who they will be sharing a hostel with. InBed.me users can also plot activities and day trips with likeminded travelers to ensure they will be making the most of their trip. Moreover, any travelers who do not wish to share their information can opt not to and still use the inBed.me tool.

InBed.me has just closed a significant investment from top investors, giving them connections with 25,000 hostel properties around the world, and that number is steadily growing.
